Adult Booties

I figured since I did the small ones the large ones wouldn't be too hard.  These booties are totally cute and only took about an hour to complete.

Booties and Hat

These cute little baby booties and hat already have a special home.  We'll find out at Christmas where they are going.

Christmas Stocking

This Christmas stocking is obviously to hang, not wear.  It turned out really cute and also only took me about 3 hours to complete.  I'm either getting faster or the patterns are getting simpler.

Hand Towels

This pattern from Annie's Attic.  It was super easy, it only took me about 2 hours to complete.

Annie's Attic Hats

So I got this pattern from Annie's Attic.  The colors aren't great, but the hats are cute.  So cute that apparently Sharon from my MBB class wanted it.  She loved it.  So I gave her the hat with the flaps.  Anyone want the other hat?

Snow Man Pixel Mosaic

I've seen these pixel mosaic's in the Mary Maxim catelog and wanted to try one for a while.  They are really expensive, so I waited until one was on sale to see if I'd even like the project.  I loved it.  It was fun, fast and it looks great.  I'm sure I'll be doing more projects like this, but here is the first one.
The awesome thing about the website is you can turn any picture into a mosaic and then order the supplies.  So if anyone wants me to create something, just let me know.  An 11x14 picture is about $45. :)

Plastic Canvas Monkeys

Here are some wall monkeys I made with plastic canvas. They are supposed to be put all together, but it ended up large.  So I decided to give them to Aggie separately so she can add them wherever she wants.

Bathroom Buddies

These items were yet another project from Annie's Attic.  It took me about 3 hours to finish the project and I got a nice set of bathroom items:
Small Face Sponge
Washcloth
Soap Holder
Bath Poof

Blanket for JoAnn's Granddaughter

JoAnn Gorman picked this out for her first granddaughter coming soon.  It was a fairly simple blanket, but was beautiful when I finished.  I made it in about 5 hours and it was built diagonally.

Scarf with a Hoodie (or is it Hoodie with a Scarf)

This was another Annie's Attic project.  It is ribbon yarn with chenille at the bottom.  I don't really work well with ribbon yarn, but this turned out cute.

Laiken's Blanket

OMG...I think this is my favorite blanket.  It was super fast to make and VERY detailed.  Even the back looks cool.  The colors match Laiken's room (my new nephew).  Hope he likes it.

Bracelets

These came in a kit and were really fun and fast.  I think I'm going to buy some supplies to make more.

Walnut's Blanket

Well I finished Walnut Frankovic's blanket.  It is a tunisian stitch and is really cool.

Extra Baby Blanket

Well it seems like it's the season again...We have a new Frankovic coming, a new Comeau, and JoAnn called and said she'll be a new grandma soon.  So, here's an extra blanket just incase a new baby just shows up. :)

Patriotic Pot Holders

This was another set of Annie's Attic patterns.  I really like the pot holder patterns that come in.  They give me a chance to practice a new stitch and make something cool. :)

Baby Cocoon and Hat

This was another project that came from Annie's Attic.  It looked cute and simple, so I decided to work on it over a weekend.  It took me 3 - 4 hours and it turned out great.

Leaf Rug

This was my first latch hook rug.  It was super simple and fun.

My First Craft Project

I signed up for a monthly craft project (as well as the crochet projects).  The first project that came was a painting project (which I'm not so good at).  I still tried it anyway.  The bird house turned out cute.  Now I just have to figure out who to give it to.

Scarves

Wouldn't you know it, as soon as I got back from my trip with JoAnn, I got this set of scarf patterns in the mail.  And wouldn't you know it, one of the scarf patterns was the one I made for JoAnn.  So now I have another.
This scarf is similar to what I made JoAnn.

This ribbon scarf was a litte more difficult to make.  Sometimes the ribbon got tangled and it was an interesting yarn.  It took me 3 - 4 hours to make.

This scarf was my favorite, but I ran out of yarn.  I still think it looks great, though it's supposed to look symmetric. I was a little upset and soon after I finished the project, I received an updated set of instructions in the mail that would have made the scarf a little better.  I might make a couple more of these now that I have the right instructions. :)

Shopping Bag

This shopping bag was fun and fast to make.  It took me only a couple of hours and turned out great.  I'm thinking about lining it so I can use it for my Walmart runs.  (Our Walmart doesn't have bags, its a provide your own bag).

Plastic Bag Holder

This was another Annie's Attic project.  It turned into a great plastic bag holder.  I love the colors and may end up keeping this project.  This one took a couple of weeks as I was traveling.

Another Annie's Attic Project

This was a project that came from Annie's Attic.  It was supposed to be a table runner but it's a little small.  The ribbon was beautiful and made the runner look amazing once it was in.  It took about 5 hours.

First Locker Hook Project

I was cooking (I know a shocker) and I saw this pot holder in the drawer.  I had forgotten that I had created this short project to see if Locker Hooking was something to try.  I ordered the Latch Hook material and then went to the clearance bin at Walmart and bought the material.  A couple of hours later was the pot holder.  It was really fun and fast :)

JoAnn's Scarf

So JoAnn was having a really bad week last week.  They completely lost her luggage.  Bad Delta Bad.  So we just "HAD" to go shopping (though we would have gone anyway).  While at Marshall's she saw a scarf that was fully round (i.e. connected).  So we went to Michaels and got the yarn she wanted and I was able to finish this in two nights for her so she had something to wear home :).  Thanks for the picture.

Old Projects

As I was pulling out the squares I created from the closet, I found two blankets that I had made years ago.  The first one is from spare yarn I used to make an afghan stitch blanket (stay tuned for that post).

The second is actually my very first project.  This was started when dad was in the hospital with his bi-pass surgery and we needed something to keep us busy.

Patchwork #1

I decided to start piecing together all of my scrap yarn.  I had a few squares sewn together already, so this is the first of at least 3 patchwork blankets.

My 2nd Doily

This pattern was included with the first doily, but this one took me a little bit.  The pattern was translated from a filet pattern and so I had to call the company of the pattern for help.  Once I finished it, I thought it was beautiful.

The 3 Year Project

This awesome blanket took me a while (almost 3 years off and on).  Once I got it done, it looked like a Jessie blanket.  So Merry Christmas Jessie.

It's made with over 100 hexagon shaped blocks and then the blocks are sewn together.  It is super heavy, but it'll be warm.  It's a little smaller than a twin size, so it will be a nice throw.
