JoAnn's Scarf

So JoAnn was having a really bad week last week.  They completely lost her luggage.  Bad Delta Bad.  So we just "HAD" to go shopping (though we would have gone anyway).  While at Marshall's she saw a scarf that was fully round (i.e. connected).  So we went to Michaels and got the yarn she wanted and I was able to finish this in two nights for her so she had something to wear home :).  Thanks for the picture.

Old Projects

As I was pulling out the squares I created from the closet, I found two blankets that I had made years ago.  The first one is from spare yarn I used to make an afghan stitch blanket (stay tuned for that post).

The second is actually my very first project.  This was started when dad was in the hospital with his bi-pass surgery and we needed something to keep us busy.

Patchwork #1

I decided to start piecing together all of my scrap yarn.  I had a few squares sewn together already, so this is the first of at least 3 patchwork blankets.

My 2nd Doily

This pattern was included with the first doily, but this one took me a little bit.  The pattern was translated from a filet pattern and so I had to call the company of the pattern for help.  Once I finished it, I thought it was beautiful.

The 3 Year Project

This awesome blanket took me a while (almost 3 years off and on).  Once I got it done, it looked like a Jessie blanket.  So Merry Christmas Jessie.

It's made with over 100 hexagon shaped blocks and then the blocks are sewn together.  It is super heavy, but it'll be warm.  It's a little smaller than a twin size, so it will be a nice throw.

Nicole's Scarf

This scarf is one that I got from Annie's Attic.  As soon as I saw it, I thought of Nicole Tucker who works with me.  I was able to crochet this and get socks and gloves to match.  Merry Christmas Nicole!!
