My First Doily

Annie's Attic sent me a doily pattern for two doilys.  I was only able to finish one (the other has a typo that I can't figure out). Hopefully I'll be more patient later on and be able to finish the other.

Just in Case

I had so many baby blankets to do this year that I decided to make one more just in case.  This was a pretty simple pattern and only took me a few weeks to complete.
I used yarn I had leftover from other projects and only needed to buy one more small skein of white.

Annie's Attic - Project 3

Whew...I think I'm all caught up.  Here is the 3rd project from Annie's Attic.  It's a table runner and I've decided to give it to Noni and Papa for their birthdays.  I've made a pretty awesome looking gift basket, but you'll have to wait for another post to see that.

Baby Boom

So the baby's have been coming non-stop.  Since January, I've been crocheting baby blankets for friends and family.  I'm even currently working on a "backup" just in case one comes that I'm not expecting.
Audrey's Blanket (Angela's new little one)
DJ and Nikki Billiard's Little One
Erin and Cedric's Little Madeleine
Everett's Blanket (Ed and Lindsey's new one)

Annie's Attic - Project 2

The 2nd project I received in the mail was a set of 3 potholders.  I was able to complete these during Christmas break in Bakersfield and Aggie liked them so much that I let her keep them. :)

Annie's Attic - Project 1

So after subscribing to Mary Maxim's emails after the awesome luck I had with the socks, I received an email to join a crochet of the month club.  It's actually pretty cool.  Its $20.00 a month and they send you the full set of materials to complete a project.  The first project was this felted purse.

It took me about 2 hours to complete and I liked it so much that I went out and bought more wool yarn for more purses...so stay tuned.

Fabric Rug

This rug I made for Mom's Birthday last year.  It uses the latch hook rug and strips of fabric.  It's actually pretty fun and super easy.  Alan drew the pattern and well..I followed it. :)

SOCKS!!!

This project seemed simple, but took me a while.  I saw a pattern for socks, but had to play with about 5 different kinds of yarn before I was able to find the right kind for PERFECT socks.  I was able to find the yarn as well as other awesome patterns on the Mary Maxim website.
These I kept :)

Craft Project #1

Well, it looks like everyone else has a "project" blog, but me.  So here I go.  Since I don't bake cakes, I decided to post some of my recent craft projects.  Most are crochet, but I've got a couple of surprises too.  These are two Monkeys that I gave Aggie (Alan's Mom) for her birthday last year.
