This orange granny square blanket was made from Mary Maxim soft yarn. The pattern was pretty cool it was a join as you go. This pattern took me a couple of weeks to complete.

Color Me Mine Mug
I had a Groupon for color me mine. I decided to paint this mug for myself. It's a travel mug with a lid and the colors came out great. This first project at color me mine was a little complex. Alan and I went back a couple days later and did something much simpler. Look for the next post to see what we made.
Is it a Bowl or a Hat
So I've decided this is a hat. The pattern said that it was a bowl but by the time I finished it looked more like a baby hat. The pattern had a really cool way to make a flower. The deep blue was really pretty. This took me about an hour to make.
Infinity Scarf
This scarf was a Mary Maxim kit. The basket weave pattern was really cool. And the scarf was really quick to make. It only took me about two hours.

2nd Painting Class
Alan and I went to another night out of painting. This time we created "Starry Night San Francisco". It was super fun. Now we have to decide were to put them
Lots of Bling Jewelry Set
Fanfare Blanket
This blanket was super fun to make. The middle was easy and the edging was very intricate and has a "pineapple" pattern.
Pearly Jewelry Set
This set came with 2 necklaces and earrings. I really like the asymmetric necklaces. They have a lot of character.
Colored Stones Jewelry Set
This was a kit that came from Mary Maxim. It took about 30 minutes to make. It is pretty heavy because of the stones. But has some nice color to it.
VERY BRIGHT Pot Holders
Infinity Scarf and Hats
This scarf and hat set came in one kit from Mary Maxim. Again, the yarn is super soft from Mary Maxim and I am at very happy with the kits that come each month. These took about 3 hours (1 hour each.
Beige Table Doily
This doily was a kit from Mary Maxim. The thread was super soft and once I learned how to count correctly, the doily was pretty easy.
Earring Sets
I spent a whole weekend on jewelry. I had a couple of kits that were earrings only and and few kits that were full jewelry sets. Here are the earrings.

Intricate octagon blanket
This blanket was really fun to make. It had a lot of stitches that I haven't done in a while or ever. The detail was pretty crazy. This blanket took me about a week to make.
Zig zag blanket
This blanket is a pattern that I got for Christmas. The pattern came from Mary Maxim. Once I read the instructions correctly the blanket was very easy to make. It took me about a week to complete.
Rag rug
I saw a picture of this rug on the Internet. I decided to Google it and search for a pattern. I finally found a pattern and used the scrap material I had around the house and some latch hook material to make this rug.
Glittery scarves
This Annie's attic pattern used glittery yarn to make two long winter scarves. The pattern has a very delicate looking flower in the center.
Organza Scarf
I've now started to get kits from Mary Maxim. This kit was a simple Organza ribbon with holes punched in it that I did a single crochet on to make the pattern. It took me less than an hour to make to scarves.

Detailed Flower Blanket
Noni found this blanket kit for me at a Thrift Store. It was a very old kit and pattern and I was worried that the yarn would be damaged, but it wasn't. It turned out really good and it is the first blanket where my gauge was exactly right. (I must be an old soul when it comes to crocheting, LOL). it is made from a large set of granny squares that is sewn together.
My First Painting
Prima Beads Kit #2
This is the second set of Prima Beads Jewelry. As you can see it makes a lot of items and doesn't cost a lot. You can't see it from these pictures, but the silver has detail to it that makes it pop.
Walmart Jewelry Kit - Set 2
This is the second set of jewelry I made from the Walmart clearance kit. Again, the multistrand necklace turned out great and the bracelet was amazing too. The drop earrings were beautiful and the heart necklace is really interesting and unique.
Pearl Jewelry Set
This set included earrings too, but they are probably on another post (since I went nuts one week and did about 50 pieces of jewelry). I really like the multi strand necklaces, but getting the wire straight is a little tough. I ended up going and getting jewelry boxes to keep this stuff in so that it wouldn't bend the wire.
Bracelet or Necklace....BOTH!!!
This Annie's Attic kit was very cool. Not only was it easy to make, but the strands can be worn separately as bracelets or linked together to wear as a necklace. This is a great mix and match kit.
Shell Necklace and Earring Set
This earring and necklace set took quite some time, but only because I didn't read the instructions correctly. Thank you Annie's Attic for adding spare parts. The shells are layered with a silver circle and a yellow bead. It gives the set depth and looks really cool.
Stone Jewelry Set
This set used perfectly rounds stones to create a layered necklace, dangle earrings and a dangle ring.
Glass Fuzing Jewelry
I took a class on Glass Fuzing. I made 5 pieces (and the instructor gave us earrings). We learned about creating depth in our jewelry and different techniques. All of the items turned out great. These are the three pieces I'll probably give away. Stay tuned for part two to see the pieces I decided to keep.
